The types of art which will be displayed in this gallery is specific. It is 'GLOW IN THE DARK ART'. An artist which I used as reference for this type of art is Adam Slater. the reason why i chose this kind of art is for a few reasons. The are listed below:
The types of art which will be displayed in this gallery is specific. It is 'GLOW IN THE DARK ART'. An artist which I used as reference for this type of art is Adam Slater. the reason why i chose this kind of art is for a few reasons. The are listed below:
- It was an unusual art form
- I thought that it would be an interesting challenge to design a building the needed to be dark yet still visible.
- It would be a challenge to collaborate all varirty of spaces, dark, semi-dark and bright in the one building in a loggical and inspiring way.
- It had a prospect of the art transforming the buildings persona while at the same time the building emulating the qualities of the artwork. (i.e. The building too would change with the varying light levels and take on new appearence as demonstrated by the works below.)
