Interesting Aspects of Model:

When you look at this model you are able to see the design elements which are characteristic to the building - the lightshafts, the mesh and the rectilinear circulation pattern.

• The mesh expresses the method of diffusing light throughout the building.
• The interior metal elements demonstrate the formation of space with little to no boundaries but rather through the manipulation of light.
• The perspex cappings symbolise the more practical elements of the building - those being the structural arrangements of the light shafts and how the covered to protect the interior from the environmental conditions.
• It expresses the change in height int he building levels.
• It also when situated in site model represents its relationship between the context from which it is placed.
